Intensive In-home Services /
Intensive In-home Services (IIS) and Intensive Family Reunification Services (IFRS)
Family Facets provides intensive in-home services (IIS), including intensive, short-term, home-based, crisis intervention services that offer families in crisis the alternative to remain safely together, averting the out-of-home placement of children. Family Facets IIS-IFRS is based upon the belief that families can, through intervention, learn to nurture their children, improve their functioning, and gain support within their community to enable families to remain safely together.
Family Facets also provides intensive family reunification services (IFRS), including intensive, longer-term, home-based, intervention services that offer families with a chld in out-of-home placement the opportunity to resolve the circumstances which lead to the child living outside the family home, working toward the goal of returning the child to the family home. Family Facets IIS-IFRS is based upon the belief that families can, through intervention, learn to nurture their children, improve their functioning, and gain support within their community to enable families to remain safely together.
Basic Services
Family Facets provides IIS-IFRS and IFRS services to the Site listed below with the capacity to serve simultaneous families (depending on the assessed Level Of Risk) for periods of up to 6 weeks for IIS interventions, or up to 12 weeks for IFRS interventions, on a 24 hour per day, 7 day per week crisis basis. IIS and IFRS services follow the Missouri Standards of Practice For IIS and IFRS. IIS and IFRS services are based on a psycho-educational crisis intervention model and emphasize teaching skill building during periods when the family is in crisis and most amenable to change.
