Intensive Family Reunification Services Program

Greene County

(CD Site 739)

Intensive In-home Services (IIS) and Intensive Family Reunification Services (IFRS)

Family Facets provides intensive in-home services (IIS), including intensive, short-term, home-based, crisis intervention services that offer families in crisis the alternative to remain safely together, averting the out-of-home placement of children. Family Facets IIS-IFRS is based upon the belief that families can, through intervention, learn to nurture their children, improve their functioning, and gain support within their community to enable families to remain safely together.

Family Facets also provides intensive family reunification services (IFRS), including intensive, longer-term, home-based, intervention services that offer families with a chld in out-of-home placement the opportunity to resolve the circumstances which lead to the child living outside the family home, working toward the goal of returning the child to the family home.  Family Facets IIS-IFRS is based upon the belief that families can, through intervention, learn to nurture their children, improve their functioning, and gain support within their community to enable families to remain safely together.
