Services Offered

Intensive In-home Services (IIS) and Intensive Family Reunification Services (IFRS)

Family Facets provides intensive in-home services (IIS), including intensive, short-term, home-based, crisis intervention services that offer families in crisis the alternative to remain safely together, averting the out-of-home placement of children. Family Facets IIS is based upon the belief that families can, through intervention, learn to nurture their children, improve their functioning, and gain support within their community to enable families to remain safely together.

Family Facets also provides intensive family reunification services (IFRS), including intensive, longer-term, home-based, intervention services that offer families with a chld in out-of-home placement the opportunity to resolve the circumstances which lead to the child living outside the family home, working toward the goal of returning the child to the family home.  Family Facets IIS is based upon the belief that families can, through intervention, learn to nurture their children, improve their functioning, and gain support within their community to enable families to remain safely together.

Chafee Foster Care Independence Program Services (CFCIP)

Family Facets provides intensive in-home services (IIS), including intensive, short-term, home-based, crisis intervention services that offer families in crisis the alternative to remain safely together, averting the out-of-home placement of children. Family Facets IIS is based upon the belief that families can, through intervention, learn to nurture their children, improve their functioning, and gain support within their community to enable families to remain safely together.

Family Facets provides services to ensure that every young adult that has transitined from foster care has the opportunity to access education, housing, emergency services, employment, health care, community services and that these young adults have a connection with a caring adult and/or life long family member.  The CFCIP services are tailored to each transitioning young adult, based on the specific strengths and needs of each young adult. 

Therapy

The Therapy Program offered by Family Facets is operated from the Family Facets Center at 701 Vandiver Dr, Columbia, Missouri, with services provided in our offices in Columbia.  The Family Facets Therapy Program also offers in-home therapy services in the Boone, Callaway, Cole, St. Charles, Franklin, and Jefferson County areas.

FCS Consulting & Family Meeting Services

Family Facets provides Consultation assistance, and family Meeting services to local Children's Division offices, on an as needed basis in all of the judicial circuits of the Missouri Children's Division at the request of the local Children’s Division offices. Family Facets provides services that are reflective of the Family-Centered Practice Model in accomplishing in-home child welfare services and out-of-home child welfare services.

Trainings

Training-Development for IIS & IFRS

Family Facets trainers provide state-wide trainings to the Missouri Children’s Division for the IIS/IFRS model. Family Facets has developed and worked as part of the State CD Training Unit to develop training curriculum for IIS/FRS since 1998 and continues to be actively involved in developing trainings.

Children’s Division Staff Trainings

Family Facets trainers deliver basic, on-going, advanced, and special issue and child welfare practices training to Children’s Division staff throughout the State of Missouri.

Special Missouri Trainings

Family Facets trainers deliver state-wide basic, on-going, and advanced FST State Trainings (including Clark Foundation FST Trainings) to Children’s Division staff.

Special National Trainings

Family Facets trainers have provided Fatherhood trainings and special trainings for the National Family Preservation Network throughout the country.  Family Facets trainers have provided training development for the NFPN.

Referrals

Children's Division staff must enter referral information in FACES, the Children's Division client application, in order to make Intensive In-home Services referrals of families with children at risk of removal  or Intensive Family Reunification Services referrals to reunite children with their family in the family home.

Private vendors, and outside sources may request Intensive In-home Services for families with children at risk of removal, or Intensive Family Reunification Services seeking to reunite children with their family in the family home, by contacting their local Children's Office.

Children's Division staff and private vendors may make requests for any of our other program services, such as Therapy, Training, etc., by sending request information to IntakeReferrals@FamilyFacets.com.   Requesting sources must include their return contact information.
